Mumford Advisory

There are no case studies here yet

If you came looking for proof, this page has none — and inventing some would tell you more about us than any of them would.

Mumford Advisory is a new practice. The rule we have set ourselves is that no case study appears here until the client has lived with the results for at least a quarter and signed off on the numbers in writing. Nothing has cleared that bar, so nothing is published.

What you can inspect instead

The method is entirely on display, free, and none of it requires talking to us:

  • The worked example — a complete assessment built on invented data, with every calculation exposed. It is the closest thing to a case study we can honestly offer, and it is designed to be argued with.
  • The calculator — the same reasoning applied to your own numbers, with the arithmetic printed on screen.
  • The blog — the operational patterns we look for, described in the open.

The standard a case study has to meet

When one does appear here, it will carry the client's written permission, name the method and show the arithmetic, and state what did not work alongside what did. No composite clients, no rounded-up outcomes, no unnamed "leading software company."

Until then, this page says nothing — which is the accurate state of a new practice, and the same standard we would apply to a number in your own report.

The cost is already being carried. The only question is whether it has been counted.
